okay something that has always bothered me about the films is that when pictures of baby harry with james and lily are shown, they should both be 20/21 and they look way older than that more like mid 30′s and it just doesn’t make sense

It annoys me too! It makes people less upset about it in a way. I mean obviously it’s horrible that they were killed regardless of what age they are, but a young Lily and James makes it even sadder. Viewers who see an older Lily and James assume ‘oh, they’ve lived relatively long lives and have finally decided to settle down and have a baby’, but in reality they were a young couple caught up in a war and they were far, far too young to die.
